Very Common Lizard

Rarely do animals with the word common in their title live up to this prefix, but in France that is exactly how one would describe the Common Lizard or Viviparous Lizard (Zootoca vivipara, formerly Lacerta vivipara).

That’s Not A Tree!

Yes, you can find Treecreepers (Certhia familiaris) in some odd places if you look hard enough. This one was on the wall of our house close enough for a photo with my point and click job.
